A Holga is a really cheap medium format camera (normally $20-25) made by the Chinese back in the 80's. Its "lens" is plastic and has only one element. It has a switch to change the aperture from F8 to F11 but it doesn't work and you're stuck with F8 all the time. To add even more fun the shutter speed is always 1/100ish of a second though some people guess that it's closer to 1/250th, and anyways it gets slower the more you use it because the spring that operates the shutter wears out. Focus is manual and you just have to guess. Overall a pretty different experience from a normal camera.
